Project Description
Island Hockey 101 and Island Recreation 101 is now one of the largest recreational sports organizations on Vancouver Island, so it’s hard to remember back when it was an idea of two brothers that liked sports. There was quite a risk, because, in like the rest of the freezing Canadian cities, a community like Victoria has limited hockey facilities, and none with availability.
Year one, I whipped this up for the Yue brothers so they can start running around parking lots and putting something in windshields, in hopes that there’s enough beer-league hockey players to start something fun. Turns out, there was more than enough!
